MoMoEU: More Monitoring action in the EU!
Discover innovative digital tools to educate young people about community-based monitoring and the fight against corruption. Visit the project ‘MoMoEU: More Monitoring Actions in the EU!’ The interactive portal developed by MoMoEU-partners offers participatory materials and digital tools specifically designed for young people aged 15-25 from different national and social contexts.
With MoMoEU, youth workers can engage young people in transparency and corruption prevention issues, through offline, hybrid or fully digital (remote) activities. All educational contents follow a two-fold educational approach, guiding youths to self-reflect on power dynamics and personal integrity (section “How to monitor yourself”), as well as empowering them to monitor their surroundings, hold decision-makers accountable and advocate for the common good (section “How to monitor the common good”).
We believe that fighting corruption can be a challenge within everyone’s reach. Momo the cat, our project mascot, is the exceptional guide of the portal, which accompanies the user through an educational path to empower young people to become active against corruption and to be the change makers in our society.
MoMoEU is the result of a partnership of eight no-profit organisations in Europe,
combining the expertise of anti-corruption activists, with the skills and methodologies of youth workers, youth facilitators, pedagogues and psychologists. The project was co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme.
